Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard commonly referenced for accessible websites. This is a goal we work toward continuously, not a claim of perfect conformance.
What we have done
Steps we have taken on this site include:
- Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus outline so you can see where you are as you tab through the page.
- A "skip to content" link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
- Color contrast that meets the WCAG AA threshold for text.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative icons hidden from screen readers so they are not read aloud.
- Respect for the "reduce motion" system setting, which turns off the animated effects.
- Semantic headings and landmarks, and a responsive layout that supports zooming and resizing text.
We have deliberately chosen not to use a third-party accessibility "overlay" widget, as these often interfere with the assistive technology people already rely on.
Third-party content
Some features on this site rely on third-party services, including Cal.com for scheduling, YouTube for video, and Substack for our newsletter. We do not control the accessibility of those services, though we try to choose accessible options where we can.
Ongoing work
We review the site as it changes and work to fix issues as we find them. Accessibility is a moving target, and we treat it as a continuing commitment rather than a one-time task.
Give us feedback
If you run into any barrier using this site, or you need information in a different format, please email yehuda@y10tax.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will help you get what you need and work to fix the problem. We aim to respond within a few business days.
